988: More Than Just a Number

Nevada is working to develop a comprehensive Crisis Response System so that everyone in Nevada will have immediate access to effective and culturally-informed behavioral health services, crisis services, and suicide prevention through 988 and the Crisis Response System. The Crisis Response System and 988 will serve as the foundation of Nevada’s behavioral health safety net; it will be instrumental in reducing behavioral health crises, striving to attain zero suicides in the state, and providing a pathway to recovery and well-being.

This presentation will provide an overview of Nevada’s vision for the Crisis Response System as well as highlight the 988 Crisis Line, which goes live on July 16. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to engage in a Q&A session with the presenters.
