Adam’s Place Volunteer Open House

Do you have a passion for helping children? Adam’s Place is in need of volunteers (both English and Spanish speakers) to help facilitate sessions for their upcoming bereavement program for youth, Camp Cope. They will hold an information session at the Vegas Strong Resiliency Center to share refreshments and more information about the program and the organization itself.

Adam’s Place supports children and families in Las Vegas that have experienced loss through its Camp Cope programs, activities, and resources. It provides grief support groups for children, teens, and families. Trained volunteer facilitators lead and encourage group members to express the many feelings that are a part of the grieving process. In a safe and confidential home life setting, group members discuss and share activities with others who share similar life-changing experiences. They foster children to be open and honest with their feelings.
