Four Years Later

It’s been four years since that night at the Route 91 Harvest Festival when 58 lives were lost and thousands of lives were changed forever. It may seem like yesterday, like an eternity, or anywhere in between.

Join us as we talk with Boston Marathon bombing survivor and Licensed Professional Counselor, Amy O’Neill. Amy will share her own journey, the impact as each year passes, and how significant dates related to traumatic events affect survivors, family members, communities, and beyond. Hear about tools and support that have helped her to see beyond survival and discover the ability to rise. Life after trauma is possible, redefining resilience and knowing that you are not alone are key elements.

Amy O’Neill hosts The Trauma Impact, a podcast on Mental Health News Radio Network, which is downloaded in over 25 countries. She is also a stakeholder for the National Mass Violence Victimization Resource Center and a consultant for the Office for Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance Center. Amy is active as an advocate for those impacted by violence and she offers a unique perspective as both a survivor and a clinician that is intuitive, informative, and compassionate.
