HEART Peer Mentor Training & Practice

HEART (Helping, Empowering, And Rebuilding Together) is a unique peer support program created specifically for those impacted by Route 91. These four training sessions and two practice sessions represent the next step for those impacted by Route 91 who are interested in providing peer support through the Vegas Strong Resiliency Center. HEART Peer Mentors are trained to offer support to others on an individual basis. They are well-versed in evidence-based best practices and have the benefit and guidance of trauma-informed HEART Coaches.

Mentors in Training must complete all four training and two practice sessions to be eligible to become a Peer Mentor. These live sessions will take place via Zoom from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. PT (2/21, 2/28, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21, and 3/28). If you are unable to attend one or more of the live training sessions, you may watch the recording of the session prior to the next training session.
