Lunch & Learn – Expand Your Resiliency Zone
Bring your lunch and join a discussion on resiliency. The Trauma Resiliency Model focuses on the biological basis of trauma and the automatic survival responses that the human body uses when faced with a perceived threat. Survivors often report a renewed sense of hope as the activities of daily living become easier to manage as skills are incorporated into life as a wellness practice. This model also explores the concept of resiliency and how to restore balance to the body and the mind after traumatic experiences.
Lisa Lewis, LMFT, LPCC will lead the session and hopes to engage all participants during the hour. Bring your questions and observations. Zoom link will be shared in advance of the meeting.
