#NashvilleStrong: Online Trauma Recovery Yoga
If you’re feeling the impact of the tragedy in Nashville, Tennessee, and other incidents of mass violence, please join us for a special support session with Brenda Blanco of Trauma Recovery Yoga (TRY). TRY offered free classes across the Las Vegas community for those affected by the Route 91 tragedy and was presented with a 2017 Compassionate City Award by the mayor of Las Vegas. Brenda offers this free, online TRY session for anyone in need of some support. It is easily adapted for all levels, ages, and capabilities, and can help with insomnia, anxiety, panic attacks, suicidal thoughts, hypervigilance, flashbacks, and other effects of trauma being held in the body.
The Resiliency Center staff is available to listen, support, and assist you in finding services if needed. For 24/7 support, you may call or text the Disaster Distress Helpline at 1-800-985-5330 to connect with a trained crisis counselor.
