Officers in Crisis: PTSD, Stigmas and Solutions
From Route 91 to daily tragedies, police officers are front-row witnesses to life’s darkest moments. Join The Mob Museum to hear from current and former law enforcement professionals and a mental health expert on how these devastating experiences can often lead to PTSD, substance abuse, divorce, and suicide. This panel discussion will explore officers’ challenges and how law enforcement agencies are helping them cope with the traumatic effects of their work.
In addition to this event, The Mob Musuem is also offering free admission to all federal, state, and local law enforcement professionals with I.D. for National Police Week, May 14 to 20.
