Responder Meditation

Southern Nevada first responders and support staff (including police officers, dispatchers, paramedics, EMTs, firefighters, coroners/medical examiners, and the Southern Nevada Health District) are invited to learn how to mindfully navigate through PTSD triggers and how to soothe their nervous systems during this meditation session at the Vegas Strong Resiliency Center with Catherine Scherwenka. Capacity is limited for the in-person session due to COVID-19 and masks are required.

Catherine Scherwenka is a meditation teacher, workshop facilitator, spiritual guide, Kundalini yoga instructor, and published author. She has studied and lived in India for many years and shares wisdom from her life experiences. In addition to this session, Catherine also offers meditation/mindfulness sessions online for first responders who have been approved for integrative services. Click here to learn more.
