Nurturing Self-Esteem Empowers Us to Feel Worthy
Self-esteem is the cornerstone for living with peace and well-being. It’s that gentle inner voice that truly believes we are worthy of support, help, love, kindness, and success. Often when our self-esteem has been injured, as it so often is through trauma and hardships, we take on distorted thinking patterns that keep us stuck in anxiety, depression, and fear. So often, a sense that we are not worthy unconsciously causes knee-jerk behaviors to self-sabotage our efforts in life.
Strong self-esteem is the antidote. In this workshop, Dr. Jacquelyn Rinaldi will discuss three easy tools to foster more self-esteem and well-being in our lives.
Dr. Rinaldi has spent the last eight years investigating compassion and self-awareness as well as the effects of meditation on the psyche. She teaches psychology at the College of Southern Nevada and leads workshops for corporate clients and conferences across the country.
