The Resiliency & Justice Center (previously known as the “Vegas Strong Resiliency Center”) is honored to be able to serve and support Southern Nevada emergency responders (including police officers, dispatchers, emergency medical technicians, firefighters, coroners/medical examiners, and the Southern Nevada Health District) with our Responder Wellness Program. Whether you are in law enforcement, fire, EMS, security, emergency communications, a hospital emergency department, or another profession at the frontline of an emergency, the Resiliency & Justice Center is here for you and those you love.

Our dedicated team organizes and supports an assortment of in-person and virtual trainings concerning trauma recovery, stress, secondary trauma, mental health, substance abuse, resiliency, and other topics of interest to emergency responders. Any responders in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, Laughlin, Mesquite, or other cities in Clark County, Nevada, are invited to utilize the various resources and support systems offered by the Resiliency & Justice Center.

Events

We host and support a variety of online and in-person trainings for responders, many of which offer strategies for dealing with issues such as secondary trauma, compassion fatigue, and stress. The Resiliency & Justice Center is also pleased to make a variety of evidence-based integrative services available at no cost to responders through online platforms. These services are intended to be used in coordination with evidence-based treatment or as a follow-up to treatment, and prior authorization by the center’s Behavioral Health Coordinator is required. Click here to learn more about all of the integrative services currently offered (meditation/mindfulness, Trauma Recovery Yoga, art therapy, and music therapy) and to complete the request form.
